Andrea Fornaro, born in Orbetello in 1977, is a Tuscan sailor with a career spanning dinghies, offshore sailing, and ocean racing, including the Mini Transat (2015, 2017). A Political Science graduate, he started racing as a child and achieved numerous national and international successes. In 2021, he launched the "Influence22" project with a Class40 built for ocean races, earning significant results like the victory in the Round Ireland Yacht Race. Fornaro is also a Marevivo brand ambassador, committed to environmental protection. He currently serves as a navigator on the FlyingNikka team, the world’s first Mini Maxi with foils.
