Trained as an architect, Pietro Luciani has been a professional sailor since 2015 and is recently involved in the Musa4 Dékuple project alongside William Mathelin. In addition to participating in major races on the world sailing calendar, he won the RORC Caribbean 600 in Class40 in 2018 and 2019, as well as the Class40 Championship in 2019 and 2022. He also achieved second place in the 2019 Normandy Channel Race (with Pablo Santurde del Arco), the 2017 Rolex Fastnet Race, and the 2019 edition of the Défi Atlantique. Since 2021, Pietro Luciani has served as vice president of the Class40 Association, the only Italian among his French colleagues, aiming to bring Class40 races to the Mediterranean, expand the event calendar, and extend sailing beyond the ocean.
